The Head of Secondary Inclusion is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for designing, leading, and evaluating the whole-school inclusion strategy across the secondary phase, ensuring that all learners, including those with additional needs, are supported to achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing identification and assessment processes, coordinating individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitoring progress through data-informed practices. The role involves coaching and guiding teaching staff on inclusive classroom strategies, differentiation, behavior support, and effective interventions, as well as modeling evidence-based inclusive teaching.
The Head of Secondary Inclusion will collaborate closely with senior leaders, counselors, parents and guardians, external specialists, and relevant regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with school policies and local requirements.
Additional duties include leading professional development related to inclusion, chairing meetings for learner support, and contributing to whole-school improvement planning and accreditation processes.
