• NEXT SOURCING Limited (NSL), the Sri Lankan liaison office of NEXT SOURCING Hong Kong, is a wholly owned subsidiary of NEXT PLC, UK, managing a $90-$100 million annual turnover.
• Shipping over 2.5 million garments monthly, the team, reporting to the Senior Product Manager, collaborates closely with the Merchandise Manager, merchandising, and technical teams.
• This role ensures seamless product portfolio management, overseeing processes to meet customer requirements efficiently while maintaining high service standards across all operations.

Your role

Forge a strong partnership between UK and NSL teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and clear boundaries.

Drive excellence by motivating development teams to uphold top-tier service standards.

Keep NSL teams and suppliers informed on trends, techniques, and innovations.

Continuously introduce fresh ideas, wash projects, and printing techniques to UK teams.

Prioritize fabric innovation, balancing textures and basics for every season.

Align with NSL designers to push trend-forward products. Support development from design to production, ensuring the right product at the right price and lead time.

Source new suppliers, optimize budgets, and strengthen global offerings, enhancing NSL’s fast fashion and competitive edge.

About you

Are you from a UK buying or design background? We are looking for a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the UK high street customer and a passion for new experiences to relocate abroad and join our team.

Your trend awareness and customer insight will be key, balanced with the strategic planning, negotiation skills, and attention to detail needed to drive results. To thrive in our fast-paced global environment, you must be a proactive, highly adaptable, and resilient problem-solver.

Apart from the above you would also need The ideal candidate will have experience across menswear and/or womenswear, with the ability to assess handwriting and safety requirements relevant to these categories. Experience working with denim products is desirable, along with a strong understanding of woven and jersey fabrics.

The role requires a keen eye for fabric development and sourcing, with the confidence to identify new fabrications and trends and effectively present these concepts to UK buying teams. Working closely with designers, the candidate will drive product development and range building, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail during approvals to ensure all quality, colour, and compliance standards are met.
