Leveraged Finance Associate – London (Mid–Senior)

A leading international finance team is seeking a mid‑to‑senior associate to join its London leveraged finance group. The role offers regular exposure to cross‑border, high‑profile financings across the capital structure including syndicated senior and second‑lien facilities, private credit, ABL and sponsor-backed transactions.

You will work on a mix of leveraged and infrastructure/real‑asset financings, collaborating with colleagues across multiple jurisdictions. The team emphasises strong transaction management, partner mentoring and opportunities to develop client relationships and market presence.

• Minimum c.4 years post‑qualification experience (or equivalent common‑law experience).
• Solid knowledge of leveraged capital structures and leveraged loan products.
• Experience advising banks, financial sponsors or corporates on leveraged or sponsor‑backed financings; exposure to M&A‑related financings advantageous.
• Proven drafting and negotiation skills for commitment papers, loan and intercreditor documentation.
• Practical understanding of English law security; infrastructure finance experience preferred.
• Strong client skills, commercial awareness and a collaborative, high‑performance approach.
