Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Customer Service & Accounts Assistant to join our team and support our transport office.

The Role

This role will support the day-to-day running of our office, helping with customer enquiries, administration, and invoice organisation. You will work closely with the transport team and accounts to ensure customers receive a professional and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Providing updates on deliveries and resolving customer queries.
• Supporting the transport team with customer communication.
• Filing and organising invoices and assisting with account documentation.
• Maintaining accurate customer and delivery records.
• Assisting with general office administration, including insurance claims for freight.
• Supporting the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, office administration, or logistics preferred but not essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
