Videographer Producer / Photography and Video Editor

Genesis10 is hiring a Videographer Producer / Photography and Video Editor for a hybrid contract position based in New York, NY. This role sits at the intersection of production and post, covering everything from concept and scripting through camera operation, editing, and final delivery for both internal corporate content and external brand-facing campaigns.

It is built for a seasoned generalist who is equally comfortable pulling focus on a product shoot and finishing a polished cut in Premiere Pro.

About the Role

This is a 6-month contract with the realistic potential to extend or convert to full-time, requiring three days onsite per week in New York. The day-to-day spans the full video production workflow, from running shoots with interviews, discussions, and promotional materials, to editing and delivering content formatted for corporate distribution and social platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

You will also be expected to contribute to shaping brand video guidelines, not just follow them.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute video production from pre-production scripting and concept development through camera operation, lighting setup, and audio capture on set.
• Edit and finish content in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, integrating motion graphics, animations, and brand elements consistent with established style guides.
• Mix and sweeten audio in Adobe Audition or comparable software to broadcast-ready standards.
• Provide on-site event photography, managing coverage logistics to ensure consistent quality across scheduled shoots.
• Organize and maintain a structured archive of video and audio assets to support the post-production workflow and future project retrieval.
• Work directly with marketing stakeholders across all levels to develop creative concepts that serve campaign goals and stay current with generative AI tools entering the video production pipeline.

What You Bring

• Five or more years of professional experience producing, shooting, and editing video content for corporate or brand purposes.
• Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition as core post-production tools.
• A portfolio demonstrating work for large or well-known brands, with credits that reflect end-to-end ownership of projects.
• Demonstrated experience editing for social platform delivery across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to carry multiple productions through the video production workflow simultaneously.

Compensation for this role ranges from $50.00 to $65.00 per hour W2, or $65.00 to $75.00 per hour at the Individual Corp rate.
