Videographer-Producer for Rapidly Growing YouTube Channel

Description

RocaNews is a media company based in New York, NY, that aims to provide non-partisan content for Gen-Z. We are looking to hire a videographer to join our video team and shoot, edit, and produce videos for our YouTube channel, @RocaNews.

Role

Videographer-producers will shoot and edit mini-documentaries for RocaNews’ main and sports YouTube channels.

Applicants must be eager to travel, thrive under tight deadlines, and have proven filming and editing ability.

Applicants should display a passion for Roca's content and storytelling.

Starting Compensation

$70,000/year + equity in RocaNews.

Location

All jobs are in-person in our New York City office, with frequent travel required.

Qualifications

• An ability to work in a fast-paced news environment and a willingness to work on weekends
• A passion for Roca's mission
• Journalism degree/experience is not required
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and able to move to New York City
• We are building a rapidly growing channel: We have grown to over 900,000 subscribers in under two years. We expect to pass 1M in the next month. This job will demand a strong intellect, cultural fit, and work ethic
