Company Overview
A leading global private investment firm with approximately $215 billion in assets under management is seeking a professional to join their General Partner Group. This role will focus on treasury, accounting, tax, and fair market value reporting for various GP entities across multiple investment sectors.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage operations and administrative activities of partnerships, including cash management, capital calls, cash distributions, and reconciliations
- Handle carry, vesting, and profit/loss allocations to partners and members of the General Partner entities
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports, including supporting documentation for capital accounts and financial reconciliations
- Oversee quarterly tax estimates and annual tax returns for partnerships, including K-1 activity
- Enter cash, book, and tax journal entries into Investran or similar software
- Assist in generating responses to investor inquiries and requests for information
- Collaborate with team members to drive initiatives, create efficiencies, and mentor junior team members
- Work on projects with all levels from Associates to Partners to enhance team and firm products
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting experience with investment companies or public accounting with audit or tax experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience with Investran or other fund accounting software preferred
- CPA and/or Master’s Degree preferred, but not required
Compensation
Salary: $95,000 - $110,000, Plus Bonus
