This Administrative Officer 3 position is a key role within the community & Civic Engagement section of the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department. The selected candidate will support the section's mission through a variety of administrative, operational, and community facing responsibilities.
The individual will be assisting the Divion Chief with complex tasks related to budget preparation, analysis and monitoring of the division's annual budget, procurement, expenditure, capital management; developing internal policies and procedures to ensure alignment with departmental goals and County standards of ethic, fairness and transparency; supporting outreach initiative aimed at firefighter recruitment including active participation in community events and drives to promote career opportunities within the department; supporting internal and external communications related to civic engagement initiatives.
Coordinate logistics and represent the department at community events aimed at recruiting future firefighters.
