Full Charge Bookkeeper (QuickBooks exp. req.) Description

Our client in the consumer goods industry is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to take ownership of day to day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands on environment and enjoys managing the full accounting cycle — from AP/AR through month end close — in a fast moving, product driven business.

You will be the primary accounting resource for the company, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and smooth coordination with leadership and external accountants. Full Charge Bookkeeper (QuickBooks exp. req.) Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable: enter bills, match invoices, prepare payments, maintain vendor records
• Oversee accounts receivable: generate invoices, apply payments, monitor aging, and follow up on past‑due accounts
• Maintain and reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Handle month‑end close tasks, including reconciliations and financial reporting
• Track and reconcile inventory‑related transactions (receipts, adjustments, COGS)
• Process sales tax filings and ensure compliance with state requirements
• Support budgeting and cash‑flow tracking
• Maintain organized accounting files, documentation, and audit‑ready records

Full Charge Bookkeeper (QuickBooks exp. req.) Qualifications

• 4+ years of bookkeeping or full‑charge accounting experience required
• Experience managing AP, AR, reconciliations, JE, GL and month‑end close required
• QuickBooks (any version) experience required
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas) required
• Comfortable calling customers regarding upcoming or past‑due payments required
• Professional, calm communication style with customers and vendors required
