Following the retirement of a highly respected CEO who led the organization for more than 25 years, the Board is seeking a dynamic executive who can build upon a strong foundation while identifying new opportunities to increase membership, strengthen engagement, expand revenue streams, and elevate the organization's impact across the state.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the organization
- Partner with the Board of Directors to develop and execute long-term growth initiatives
- Drive membership recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts
- Identify and implement new revenue-generating programs and partnerships
- Serve as the organization's primary representative with business leaders, policymakers, regulators, and community stakeholders
- Strengthen relationships throughout Delaware's business and professional communities
- Oversee budgeting, financial stewardship, and organizational performance
- Support advocacy initiatives and collaborate with external government affairs resources
- Lead and develop a small internal team while fostering a culture of accountability and service
- Build visibility and awareness of the organization's mission and value proposition
Qualifications
- Executive leadership experience within an association, nonprofit, membership organization, chamber of commerce, professional services firm, or similar environment
- Strong operational and business management experience
- Demonstrated success driving organizational growth, membership engagement, fundraising, business development, or revenue generation
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with boards, committees, and external stakeholders
- Strategic mindset coupled with hands-on execution abilities
- Ability to serve as a visible and active leader throughout Delaware
- CPA designation or accounting industry experience is welcomed but not required.
