Software Engineer Intern

Milni is a peer-to-peer marketplace for renting and reselling South Asian formalwear. Built on top of Aayka Fashion, NYC's leading South Asian rental brand. 7,000 customers, 2,000+ rentals completed, live platform, active seed raise.

Looking for one sharp engineer to work directly with me, the founder, starting immediately. This is 0-to-1 building at an early stage NYC startup. You will ship things real users interact with from day one.

What you're building

• React Native iOS app from our existing web platform
• Sizing and fit input flow, measurement capture that actually works for South Asian garments
• Laundry partner integration

This is a good fit if you

• Have extremely high agency and high taste
• Build fast using AI tools
• React or React Native experience, bonus if you've shipped something to the App Store
• Think about the user experience, not just the code
• Want real ownership on something people actually use and care about

Details

• Paid, $20-25/hour depending on experience
• 40 hours a week
• 90 days to start, with potential to grow
• NYC based, in person preferred
