Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying financial data, and ensuring accurate journal entries. This is an excellent opportunity for a B.Com graduate with up to a year of experience to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting and grow within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate matching with Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery receipts.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post precise journal entries related to accounts payable, accruals, and daily financial transactions.
• ERP Data Entry: Maintain and update accounting records efficiently using Tally 9 or other company ERP systems.
• Vendor Management: Assist in responding to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve any billing discrepancies.
• Reconciliation: Help with monthly vendor statement reconciliations and support the team during month-end closing processes.
• Documentation: Maintain organized physical and digital financial records for future audit purposes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Commerce ( B.Com ) graduate.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of core experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting roles.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on exposure to Tally 9 or any major ERP system (May be SAP or Oracle) Strong fundamental understanding of Journal Entries and double-entry bookkeeping rules. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry, sorting). Soft
