Sales Manager - FMCG

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced FMCG Sales Manager to drive sales growth, expand market share, and manage key customer relationships across the non-food FMCG sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in distributor management, modern trade, traditional trade, and business development within categories such as household products, personal care, cleaning products, paper goods, or related non-food consumer goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration.
• Lead negotiations on commercial agreements, pricing, promotions, and annual contracts.
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
• Develop and implement trade marketing initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and demand planning processes.
• Ensure optimal product availability, distribution coverage, and merchandising standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to maximize performance and productivity.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews for senior management.
• Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to ensure efficient inventory management and customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.5–10+ years of sales experience within FMCG in non-food categories.
• Proven experience managing distributors, key accounts, and retail channels.
• Strong knowledge of modern trade, traditional trade, and wholesale markets.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
