Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Clinical Sales Representative role based in Chennai. The Clinical Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business with clinics and independent practitioners, conducting product demonstrations, and explaining how CliniKite supports clinic workflows and data sovereignty.
Daily activities include visiting clinics, engaging with medical and administrative decision-makers, managing a sales pipeline, and following up on leads from marketing and referrals. The role involves collaborating with the product and customer success teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience, gathering feedback from clinicians, and sharing market insights.
The Clinical Sales Representative will also be expected to meet or exceed sales targets, maintain accurate records in the CRM, and represent CliniKite at events, conferences, or local medical association meetings as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Medical Sales and Sales experience, preferably selling healthcare software, medical devices, or clinical solutions.
- Effective Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical or workflow concepts clearly to clinicians and clinic staff.
- Proven Sales Management capabilities, such as pipeline management, forecasting, territory planning, and reporting.
- Familiarity with Operating Room or clinical environments and comfort engaging with healthcare professionals in clinical settings.
- Ability to build long-term relationships, handle objections, and negotiate with decision-makers in small and medium-sized clinics.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in the field while collaborating closely with internal teams.
- Experience with CRM tools and basic proficiency in office productivity software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in clinical or healthcare sales.
- Knowledge of the Indian healthcare ecosystem and local Chennai market; proficiency in relevant local languages is an advantage
