5+ years of relevant backend development experience

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to build scalable backend systems and APIs using Python and Django. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in API integrations, workflow orchestration, database optimization, and enterprise-grade backend architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Execution

Build and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Django

Develop robust RESTful APIs for frontend and external integrations

Follow defined architecture, coding standards, and best practices

API Development & Integration

Collaborate with React frontend teams for seamless API integration

Consume and integrate external infrastructure APIs

Ensure reliable data exchange and system interoperability

Workflow Orchestration

Integrate backend services with orchestration tools like Airflow or Celery

Manage execution workflows, payload handling, and logging mechanisms

Maintain accurate execution states and database records

Performance & Quality

Optimize PostgreSQL queries and Django ORM performance

Eliminate bottlenecks and improve application scalability

Ensure strong unit testing coverage and maintainable code quality

Project Delivery

Participate in the complete backend delivery lifecycle

Support deployment in Docker/Kubernetes-based environments

Contribute to architectural discussions and technical roadmaps

Primary Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with

Python

Django Framework

REST APIs

PostgreSQL

Django ORM

Experience with

Airflow or Celery

Docker/Kubernetes

Linux/Unix systems

Understanding of enterprise backend architecture and integrations

Familiarity with storage management concepts

SAN/NAS

Exposure to workflow orchestration systems

Knowledge of containerized deployments in enterprise environments

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Equivalent practical experience is also considered

4–7 years of backend engineering experience in enterprise-grade products
