Requirements
- Languages & Frameworks:
- Core Languages: Proficiency in Node.js, Python, and TypeScript.
- Web Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Fast
- API, Nest
- JS, Django, and Express.js.
- Database Management: Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL optimization, alongside experience with NoSQL solutions like MongoDB and Redis.
- Infrastructure & DevOps:
- Cloud: Primary experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) services such as GCE, GKE, Cloud Run, or BigQuery; prior experience with AWS is also highly valued and acceptable.
- Orchestration: Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) for containerized environments.
- Architecture & Data:
- Messaging: Experience implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka or Rabbit
- MQ.
- API Design: Proficiency in designing and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Standards: Mastery of Microservices architecture and Serverless computing.
- What You’ll Do:
- Design & Scale: Build and maintain scalable backend services capable of processing large-scale healthcare datasets.
- AI Integration: Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy and integrate machine learning models into production environments.
- Quality First: Advocate for and implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all backend systems adhere to strict healthcare data security standards, including encryption at rest and in transit.
- Mentorship: Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's technical growth through knowledge sharing and documentation.

- Experience with Healthcare Standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD-10).
- Familiarity with healthcare EDI/Claims APIs.
- Exposure to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
- Knowledge of data engineering tools such as Snowflake or dbt.
