As part of its continued digital transformation journey, they are looking for a hands-on SAP MM & Ariba Functional Consultant to support and enhance procurement, inventory, and materials management processes across the organization.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP professional with strong functional expertise in SAP MM and exposure to SAP Ariba. The ideal candidate should be actively involved in day-to-day SAP MM operations, business process support, configuration, and stakeholder management.
This is a hands-on role requiring deep understanding of procurement, stores, inventory management, India localization, and SAP integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage SAP MM processes across procurement, inventory, and materials management functions.
- Work closely with Purchase, Stores, Finance, and Operations teams to understand business requirements and provide SAP solutions.
- Handle configuration, enhancements, testing, issue resolution, and user support within SAP MM.Support SAP Ariba processes and integration with SAP ERP.Manage procurement lifecycle processes including:
- Purchase Requisitions
- Purchase Orders
- Vendor Management
- Inventory Management
- Goods Receipt & Invoice Verification
- Stock Transfers
- Support MM-FI and MM-SD integrations.
- Ensure compliance with India GST and localization requirements.
- Coordinate with business users for process improvements and system optimization.
- Support SAP upgrades, rollouts, and digital transformation initiatives.
Required Skills
- Must Have8–15 years of SAP MM functional experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Materials Management (MM).
- Experience with SAP Ariba.
- Strong understanding of:
- Procurement
- Stores
- Inventory Management
- Materials Management
- Experience in MM-FI and MM-SD integration.
- Knowledge of GST and India localization.
- Ability to independently handle business user discussions and solution design.
- Good to Have
- Working knowledge of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance).
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA.Experience in manufacturing organizations.
- Exposure to SAP implementation, rollout, or enhancement projects.
