The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. Within this role, you will support the developing web and social media presence of Media and Digital Culture research group, based in the School of Digital Arts. Weekly tasks could include:
- Attending research group meetings and events
- Writing blog posts about events and activities
- Interviewing group members about research projects and creative projects
- Creating promotional content including infographics, short form video and image-based content
- Using a content management system (Wordpress-based) to add and update website content

This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements - Essential:
- Must be an enrolled student for the duration of the role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of drafting text/image/video content for digital platforms, gained through work, study, hobbies or volunteering
- Evidence of a responsible attitude and ability to show initative
- Able to contribute and work effectively in a team and independently.
- Evidence of good time keeping and attendance record. Desirable:
- Experience of using a content management system. The student must be able to attend an event on 30 June 2026.
