Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and proactive Electrical Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in Facility Management operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical systems within commercial, residential, and industrial facilities.
Candidates with DEWA approval and UAE Facility Management experience will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment within assigned facilities.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical installations.
- Ensure proper functioning of LV systems, distribution boards, transformers, generators, lighting systems, and associated electrical equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify faults and ensure reliability.
- Attend and resolve electrical breakdowns, emergencies, and client complaints promptly.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA regulations, UAE electrical standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
- Review and prepare maintenance schedules, reports, service records, and technical documentation.
- Monitor power consumption and support energy-saving and sustainability initiatives.
- Verify the quality of maintenance works and ensure service standards are maintained.
- Assist in project execution, electrical modifications, upgrades, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and materials required for maintenance operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of UAE experience in Facility Management or Building Maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with DEWA regulations and UAE electrical standards.
- DEWA-approved candidates will be preferred.
- Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage technicians, subcontractors, and maintenance teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance reporting.
- UAE Driving License will be an added advantage.
