We are a leading chemicals supplier serving water treatment, wastewater, industrial utilities, and process water sectors across the UAE and Middle East. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with 10+ years of experience in the distribution of water treatment chemicals.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, preferably in Chemical Engineering, and a proven track record in sales, account management, and business development within the chemicals distribution industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers in water treatment, wastewater plants, industrial facilities, cooling towers, boilers, and related sectors.
- Promote and sell a portfolio of water treatment chemicals, including coagulants, flocculants, biocides, antiscalants, corrosion inhibitors, and specialty additives.
- Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits to understand customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular visits and relationship building.
- Provide technical support related to product selection, dosing, and application performance.
- Ensure timely order processing, delivery coordination, and after sales service.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and CRM updates.
- Prepare and negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and maintain long-term partnerships
- Provide insights into product performance, customer feedback, and market gaps.
- Contribute to product portfolio development and work closely with management to develop market expansion plans.

- Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets (revenue & margin).

Qualifications/Requirements
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of technical sales experience in water treatment chemicals.
- Proven track record in sales, negotiation, and account management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- UAE driving license is a must.
Pay: From AED25,000.00 per month
