Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Reinsurance Underwriter based in Dubai, with the flexibility to work partially from home. The Senior Reinsurance Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and underwriting reinsurance risks while developing and maintaining strong client and partner relationships.

Responsibilities include assessing risk profiles, negotiating reinsurance contract terms, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to strategic initiatives to drive business growth. Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders will be essential to the role.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in reinsurance underwriting practices, risk assessment, and portfolio management
• Proficiency in contract negotiation and understanding reinsurance contracts
• Experience in client relationship management and effective communication with external partners
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret data and market trends
• Knowledge of international reinsurance markets and regulatory frameworks
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills to work across teams and guide decision-making
• Familiarity with surety, bonds, property, and engineering insurance is a significant advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Insurance, or a related field; advanced certifications in reinsurance or underwriting are preferred
