MT5 Administrator & HUB Specialist

Experience Required: 1–3 years in a similar role, preferably within FX/CFDs or financial services
Role Overview
This is a key technical role within the company , Trading Operations team, focused on the daily administration, optimisation, and performance monitoring of MetaTrader 5 platforms and the liquidity HUB.
You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and efficiency of trading systems while supporting the Trading Desk, Finance, Risk, and Data teams. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical capability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced brokerage environment.
Key Responsibilities
MT5 Platform Administration
- Maintain, configure, and monitor MT5 servers, including groups, symbols, data feeds, gateways, and plugins
- Handle the creation and management of trading accounts, groups, symbols, and securities
- Swap updating, dividends, holiday hours updating, and all other corporate actions.
- Troubleshoot platform-related issues in real-time and coordinate solutions across teams
- Perform updates, upgrades, and patching as required, ensuring system stability and minimal downtime
- Liaise with third-party vendors for platform enhancements, custom plugins, or feature requests
- Monitor server health, trade flow, execution delays, and system alerts
HUB Management
- Manage and configure HUB for liquidity aggregation, pricing, and order routing
- Monitor order performance, latency, and slippage, onboard FIX API clients and configure the connection.
- Update holiday hours and component actions
- Configure the routing rule and symbol mapping to API connections
- Investigate slippage issue or order rejection, and all other trading operations kind of client queries
- Configure new symbols, securities, and other symbol settings.
- Set up and maintain liquidity provider connections and mapping logic
- Collaborate with LPs and internal trading teams to ensure optimal pricing and execution
Trading Operations
- Configure markup for symbols and securities as per the desk requirement.
- Generate all kinds of reports and other metrics as per the desk and management requirements
- Support new system implementations and region-specific platform launches
- Identify automation opportunities to improve operational workflows and system reliability
- Contribute to documentation, SOPs, and platform best practices
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports for internal stakeholders
- Analyse trading data, including PnL, execution quality, trade flow, and client activity
- Monitor and evaluate liquidity provider performance (fill rates, slippage, latency)
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve execution quality and operational performance
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of reporting outputs across systems.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the finance team on PnL reporting, reconciliation, and revenue validation
- Collaborate with the risk team on exposure monitoring, hedging activity, and trading anomalies
- Partner with the data team to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reporting consistency
- Support internal stakeholders with data requests, investigations, and operational queries
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of MT5 platform architecture and backend configuration
- Hands-on experience with HUB setup, LP mapping, and trade routing
- Technical troubleshooting and log analysis skills
- Understanding of trade lifecycle, execution, and liquidity management
- Familiarity with the FIX protocol and APIs for integrations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret trading and performance data
- Excellent attention to detail and structured approach to change management
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and cross-departmental communication skills
- Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions

Required Experience
- 1–3 years’ experience in MT5 system administration within an FX/CFD brokerage
- Proven experience working with HUB or similar
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with trading platforms, liquidity systems, and brokerage operations
