Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled WLAN Protocol Testing Engineer with strong experience in Wi-Fi protocol validation, testing, and debugging. The candidate should have hands-on experience in WLAN technologies, protocol analyzers, and test automation for wireless communication products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform WLAN protocol testing and validation for Wi-Fi products and solutions.
• Analyze and debug IEEE 802.11 protocol issues using packet analyzers/sniffers.
• Execute functional, interoperability, regression, and performance testing.
• Work closely with development teams to reproduce and resolve WLAN issues.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for WLAN testing.
• Validate Wi-Fi features such as roaming, security, throughput, and connectivity.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and detailed defect reports.
• Support certification testing for Wi-Fi compliance.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of WLAN / Wi-Fi protocols:802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax
• WPA/WPA2/WPA3Roaming, QoS, MU-MIMO, OFDMAHands-on experience with:
• Wireshark
• Sniffers / Packet analyzers
• WLAN testing tools
• Strong debugging and log analysis skills.
• Experience in Linux environments and networking concepts.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, UDP, and routing concepts.
• Familiarity with automation using Python/Shell scripting is preferred.
• Experience in interoperability and performance testing.
