About the Company
Sustainability Economics.ai is a global organization pioneering the convergence of clean energy and AI, enabling profitable energy transitions while powering end-to-end AI infrastructure. By integrating AI-driven cloud solutions with sustainable energy, we create scalable, intelligent ecosystems that drive efficiency, innovation, and long-term impact across industries.
Guided by exceptional leaders and visionaries with decades of expertise in finance, policy, technology, and innovation, we are committed to making long-term efforts to fulfil this vision through our technical innovation, client services, expertise, and capability expansion.
Role Summary
We're looking for a hands-on Agentic AI Intern to build autonomous, LLM-powered agents that automate real work — starting with data collection and growing into broader agentic workflows across our AI systems.
Your first focus will be building agents that gather, clean, and structure information from open and public sources. But this is not a scraping-only role: as you ramp up, you'll work on the wider agentic stack — tool-using agents, retrieval pipelines, evaluation and monitoring, and automations that feed and act on our AI infrastructure. Data collection is the entry point, not the ceiling.
This is a builder's role: ideal for someone with strong Python skills, genuine curiosity about agent frameworks, and a bias toward shipping. Strong performers will have a clear path to a full-time offer and an aggressive growth trajectory.
What You'll Do
- Build, train, and optimize generative AI models for production use cases.
- Design intelligent agentic workflows that integrate seamlessly with business applications.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to deliver impactful AI solutions.
- Contribute to the development of APIs and user-facing tools that make AI accessible.
- Continuously monitor and improve AI systems for scalability, performance, and accuracy.
- Key
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain autonomous, LLM-driven agents — initially for data collection from open and public sources (web pages, APIs, public datasets, documents), expanding into broader agentic automation over time.
- Use LLMs and agent frameworks (e.g., Lang
- Chain, OpenAI/Gemini APIs) to make agents adaptive and resilientto changing sources and tasks.
- Develop robust scraping, crawling, and ingestion pipelines with appropriate rate-limiting, error handling, and retries.
- Clean, normalize, and structure collected data; handle deduplication, validation, and storage.
- Monitor agent performance and reliability, and continuously improve coverage, speed, and accuracy.
- Contribute to retrieval (RAG), evaluation, and orchestration components as the role expands beyond data collection.
- Document data sources, pipelines, and agent logic clearly for the team.
- Collaborate with engineers and domain experts to align your work with real business needs.
Key Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong Python skills (data handling, scripting, and libraries such as
requests, `Beautiful
- Soup
, Scrapy, Pandas`).
- Exposure to LLMs and agentic tooling (Lang
- Chain, OpenAI APIs, Gemini APIs, RAG, or vector databases) — a strong plus and increasingly central to the role.
- Familiarity with working from open/public data sources and APIs.
- Understanding of data structures, basic data cleaning, and storage concepts.
- Self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and eager to learn fast.
- Soft
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Clear communication and a willingness to document work.
- Collaborative attitude across engineering and research teams.
- What You'll Gain
- Real ownership of production agents from day one — starting with data collection and broadening into the wider agentic stack.
- Hands-on experience with cutting-edge LLM and agentic workflows.
- Mentorship from a mission-driven team working at the intersection of AI and clean energy.A performance-based path to a full-time role and an aggressive growth trajectory.
