About the Role

As part of the team, you will be given opportunities to work on multiple areas of audit engagements based on your abilities and readiness and also to handle less complex assignments independently with guidance provided by seniors and managers.

As a trainee with the Assurance team, you will conduct full-scope audits of listed companies, internationally active companies, and SMEs. You will learn and support the team in the following areas:

• Deliver quality auditing services for each project assigned;
• Work closely with team members to execute the audit plan, and documented the audit in compliance with professional accounting and auditing standards;
• Ensure timely completion of the audit engagement;
• Assist in the preparation of tax computation, financial statements, management letters, and special reports, as required;
• Conduct data analytics by using applicable tools and techniques to achieve audit objectives and generate actionable insights; and
• Ensure compliance in accordance with the firm’s policy and procedures and uphold the highest professional standards.

About You

• Has or pursuing accounting related qualifications, diploma, degree, or professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA;
• Driven, inquisitive, and self-motivated
• Detail-oriented and strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills; and
• Ability to work independently and stay proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
