Role Purpose
The role will be responsible for driving marketing initiatives, market development, and business growth for Meril’s Endo Surgery portfolio across assigned domestic and international markets. The incumbent will work closely with sales teams, surgeons, hospitals, distributors, and key stakeholders to strengthen product positioning, support market expansion, and enhance customer engagement.
The position requires a strong blend of product knowledge, field marketing expertise, stakeholder management, clinical understanding, and strategic execution capabilities to support business objectives and portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive product marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and regional market requirements
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, workshops, CMEs, KOL engagements, training programs, and academic activities
- Collaborate closely with sales teams, distributors, regional managers, and healthcare professionals to support business growth and market penetration Support product launches, portfolio positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives
- Conduct regular product and clinical training sessions for sales teams, distributors, surgeons, and paramedical staff
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer feedback, and business opportunities to support strategic decision-making
- Develop marketing collaterals, digital content, presentations, and clinical support materials
- Participate in medical conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and promotional activities across assigned markets
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, and R&D for effective execution and product lifecycle management
- Support post-launch product adoption and customer engagement initiatives
- Gather field insights and customer feedback to support innovation and product enhancement initiatives
- Eligibility Criteria
- Strong product knowledge and hands-on experience in surgical stapling devices
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales or marketing of stapling devices
- Overall 3–5 years of experience within the medical devices industry
- Good understanding of field marketing activities, surgeon engagement, and clinical selling
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in training healthcare professionals, distributors, and sales teams
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple stakeholders
- Exposure to international markets such as APAC, LATAM, Africa, CIS, or Europe will be an added advantage
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
- MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification in Marketing / Healthcare Management preferred
