Role Overview
We’re looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting & Office Manager to own India-based accounting coordination, US accounts payable support, and day-to-day office administration for our Hyderabad location. This role works closely with our external India accounting firm, the US finance team, and the HR function to keep financial operations accurate, timely, and well-organized.
This is a broad, high-ownership role that combines finance coordination with office management — ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes initiative, and brings a proactive, service-oriented approach to their work.
Key Responsibilities
- India Accounting & Finance Coordination Process and track India vendor invoices and coordinate ad-hoc payments on a monthly basis
- Execute monthly statutory and benefit-related payments through the India banking portal
- Coordinate with the external India accounting firm on bi-weekly reviews, bank file preparation, and month-end close activities
- Prepare the monthly India budget summary and support quarterly advance tax coordination
- Manage employee reimbursements and foreign currency transaction documentation
- Handle credit card statement reconciliation and bank uploads US Accounts Payable Support Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounts payable system accurately and on time
- Match invoices topurchaseorders and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Monitor the AP inbox and respond to vendor and internal inquiriesin a timely manner
- Set up new vendors,maintainvendor records, and collect required documentation
- Assistemployees with purchase order questions and accounts payable system troubleshooting
- Prepare andsubmitthe weekly India transaction summary to the external accounting firm India Office Administration Manage day-to-day India office operations including facilities, supplies, vendor relationships, and building coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for India officelogisticsand operational needs
- Coordinate with IT and building management for office access, maintenance, and equipment requests
- Support local compliance documentation and office-related administrative requirements as needed Recruiting & Interview Scheduling Support Coordinate interview schedulinglogisticsfor India-based candidates, including calendar management and candidate communications
- Send interview invitations, manage scheduling changes, and ensure a professional andtimelycandidate experience
- Support the HR team with India-based administrative needs related to the hiring process Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of experience in accounting operations, finance coordination, bookkeeping, or a similar role
- Working knowledge of India statutory payment processes, including TDS, EPF, and professional tax
- Experience working with an India banking portal or similar payment platform
- Exposure to accounts payable systems and invoice processing workflows
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring monthly and quarterly deadlines
- Proficient written and verbal communication in English
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats across finance and administrative functions
- Located in Hyderabad or willing torelocatewithin60 daysof starting date Desired Skills & Experience Experience coordinating with an outsourced India accounting or CA firm
- Exposure to US accounts payable processes or global finance teams
- Prior office management or executive assistant experience
- Familiarity with enterprise software or SaaS company environments Role Details
