We are looking for a Front End Developer to build and Lead frontend feature development and architectural decisions. Design scalable solutions, optimize performance, and mentor junior engineers. You will play a key role in designing unique experiences for the end users.
Responsibilities
- Lead feature development from design to deployment and develop components required to scale.
- Make architectural decisions for frontend applications.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals and frontend performance at scale.
- Drive adoption of best practices across the frontend codebase.
- Maintain high standards of code quality, unit testing, and documentation.
- Use a product-thinking mindset to solve business and tech problems.
- Monitor systems, debug production issues, and ensure uptime of critical services.
- Work closely with product, frontend, & data teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Proven ownership of features from design to deployment.
- Identify and address technical debt while maintaining a healthy codebase.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive code quality standards.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code to accelerate development workflows.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of production experience with React and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture patterns and state management.
- Experience designing and building scalable, reusable component-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of web performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and frontend build tooling.
- Solid understanding of databases (MSSQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
- Proven ability to lead features and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Exposure to backend API architecture and willingness to use AI assisted tools to build the backend.
Good to Have
- Experience in fintech / wealth management / mutual funds domain.
- Experience with Next.js App Router and server components.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Track record of mentoring or leading small teams.
- Understanding of compliance, KYC, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, ELK).
