At Shangri-La, hospitality from the heart defines who we are. We are seeking a proactive and dedicated professional to join our team as Assistant Human Resources Manager. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering an exceptional colleague experience.
We Rely On You To Oversee and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely maintenance of payroll systems and employee records. Manage payroll administration processes and support compliance with statutory and organizational requirements. Prepare, analyse, and consolidate payroll data, HR metrics, and management reports, including headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and leave liabilities.
Provide professional guidance and support on the interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation. Act as a key point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees, managers, and external stakeholders. Provide leadership, direction, and support across all areas of Human Resources to ensure effective service delivery.
Drive the execution of HR strategies, initiatives, and departmental objectives in alignment with organizational goals. Lead end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition processes to attract, select, and retain top talent. Foster a positive employee experience by proactively managing employee relations matters and resolving grievances in a fair and timely manner.
Inculcate the best practices and processes to ensure a smooth and effective workflow within the department. We Are Looking For Someone Who Has a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Possesses strong knowledge of payroll administration, HR operations, and local labour and employment legislation.
Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Has the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure. Is a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Exhibits strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop teams.
