LOCATION: MOUNTAIN VIEW (BAKERSFIELD, CA.)

REPORTS TO: SOFTWARE ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR

JOB LOCATION NOTE

This position is primarily onsite to support business operations, collaboration with business stakeholders and engagement with cross-functional IT teams. A hybrid remote work arrangement may be considered after the employee has successfully completed onboarding, demonstrated proficiency in the role, and developed a strong understanding of Grimmway Produce Group's business processes and enterprise systems.

Eligibility for remote work will typically be evaluated after approximately one year of employment and will be based on business needs, performance, and management approval.

About the Opportunity

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Software Engineer 2 responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise software solutions that enhance Grimmway Produce Group's core business operations.

This role translates business needs into scalable and reliable applications, contributes to system integrations and modernization efforts, and helps ensure the long-term effectiveness, stability, and evolution of the company's enterprise application ecosystem.

Through collaboration with business and IT teams, the position delivers technology solutions that improve processes, support strategic objectives, and enhance the user experience. What You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 or more years of enterprise development experience using .NET Framework, JavaScript/TypeScript, T-SQL, or comparable modern programming languages and technologies.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, supervisors, managers, and colleagues.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets company insurance and DMV requirements.
• Hybrid and/or remote work arrangements may be available after evaluations, as specified in the job location note.

Benefits

Starting Wage: $32.00 to $36.00 / HOUR
