The Partner Success Engineer will play a key role in helping us achieve our mission to improve and transform K-12 education. Your focus will be on executing technical deliverables to partners, and enabling us to modernize, evaluate, improve, and standardize the way schools view, interpret, and respond to data.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with a small, cross-functional team, including members of the Partner Success team, to ensure partner needs are clearly understood and met
- Communicate progress, blockers, and outcomes clearly within the team and to relevant stakeholders
- Build, maintain, and validate partner reports, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and reliable
- Maintain and update partner databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries as needed
- Develop, maintain, and monitor BI dashboards that surface educational data for partners, ensuring dashboards are accurate and refreshed on schedule
- Assist in troubleshooting data quality issues and implementing fixes to improve reporting reliability
- Use Git for version control and collaborate on code using standard branching and review practices
- Write and maintain scripts and data workflows using Python, SQL, and command-line tools
- Work with BigQuery (or similar data warehouses) to query, transform, and manage large datasets
- Support the ongoing improvement and maintenance of documentation for systems, data pipelines, and processes in Notion
- Follow established engineering and data best practices while continuing to learn and grow technical skills
Experience
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development or a related field. Bachelor's degree a plus.
- 1+ year(s) of experience in software development and ability to learn quickly.
- History of work experience and collaboration, organizational skills and documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
