Leader, Software Engineering

We’re looking for an experienced software engineering leader to join the Cisco Systems team. Our ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver who is passionate about developing innovative solutions and building high-performing teams.To be successful in this role, you must be an experienced software engineer with an advanced degree in computer science or a related field.

You should have a proven track record of leading and managing software development teams and have a strong knowledge of programming languages and technologies.

You should also be a strong communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.The successful candidate will be a key member of the software engineering team, taking responsibility for the development of cutting-edge software products and solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage software development teams to develop innovative software products and solutions.

Design software architectures and develop software solutions using programming languages and technologies.

Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.

Create technical documentation and user manuals.

Analyze user requirements and design software specifications.

Develop and implement software development processes and best practices.

Monitor software development progress to ensure timely completion.

Motivate and mentor software engineering teams.

Troubleshoot and debug software issues.

Remain up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies.
