Manager Quality Assurance

Del Monte Foods is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Manager of Quality Assurance to join our team and help us maintain and improve the quality of our products.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of quality assurance processes, and have excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.The Manager of Quality Assurance will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing overall quality assurance plans for Del Monte Foods.

The Manager will be in charge of ensuring all products meet established food safety and quality standards, and will be tasked with designing and executing process improvements, and providing technical expertise.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about quality assurance and has a keen eye for detail.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Agriculture, or similar- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, product development, or related field- Advanced knowledge of quality assurance protocols, standards, and processes- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsIf you have a passion for quality assurance and are looking for an opportunity to make an impact, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality assurance plans that meet food safety and quality standards.

Monitor production processes and inspect raw materials, products, and packaging components for compliance with Del Monte Foods standards.

Investigate complaints and customer feedback to identify and address quality issues.

Develop process improvements to ensure product quality and safety.

Ensure that all products meet regulatory and legal requirements.

Perform routine audits of company products and processes.

Ensure all personnel are trained in quality assurance processes and procedures.

Report any quality issues to management and provide technical expertise to resolve them.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality assurance activities.

Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality standards are met.
