Job Title: QA/QC Inspector

Job Description

As a QA/QC Inspector, you will be responsible for performing receiving and inspection duties to ensure that products meet customer and quality requirements. You will maintain and report on daily statistics while adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review and create datasheets.
• Enter data into the database.
• Contact vendors with questions on vendor datasheets and origin surveys.
• Create product label templates.
• Document changes per defined standard operating procedures.
• Update incoming specifications per defined standard operating procedures.
• Inspect incoming antibody products according to established procedures to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Complete required inspection records per standard operating procedures.
• Check incoming products, match packing slips with purchase orders, and receive antibodies into the mainframe.
• Initiate material rejections as necessary.
• Collaborate with company personnel to resolve inspection questions.
• Maintain and report on daily statistics.
• Perform all job duties in a safe manner and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to the Code of Ethics and the 4-I values.
• Perform all job duties within ISO standards, regulatory, or statutory requirements.
• Perform other duties and cross-training as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline required; Biology preferred.
• Detail-oriented and accurate.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work as a team player and/or independently.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately to process material.
• Proficient with PC applications.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in GMP, QC, QA, Inspection, and Quality documentation.
• Familiarity with Excel.
• Experience with material rejections and specifications.
• Experience in working with antibodies.

You will work in the Antibody group/division within a great production facility that includes lab, production, R&D, regulatory, and quality departments. This role offers an opportunity to get your foot in the door with one of the largest Biotech companies in the world. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Rockford, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
