Job Description

Primary skills: Unix and sql , Banking / Financial , API Testing

Mid level QA Analyst with 3+ years of experience in the finance industry ( commodities/exchange trading environment a plus )

• Experience with end to end testing, interaction/integration with multiple downstream systems
• Strong understanding of testing life cycle ( experience with agile life cycle a plus )
• Familiarity with Java based environment(experience with IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ)
• Experience in test case authoring, Execution and Reporting
• Knowledge on test and defect management tools ( Quality Center, Jira )
• Strong knowledge of SQL and able to write queries to verify data in Oracle DB
• Strong communication ( written / verbal ) skills
• Experience with Automation tools a plus ( Selenium )
• Experience with development of test harness ( Java ) as part of internal testing a plus
• Highly analytical, proactive and detail oriented
• Must be a self-starter and be able work well in fast paced, dynamic environment
