Point-of-Sale (POS) QA Tester

• This is a long term contract and 100% Onsite position.
• Due to the nature of the project, we require Visa independent candidates only.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester with strong hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, specializing in Point of Sale (POS) applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in testing POS systems, and possess a deep understanding of retail operations, store workflows, payment systems, and digital platforms.

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through comprehensive testing, production support, and continuous process improvement in an Agile environment.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience testing Point of Sale (POS) applications.
• Experience in Retail or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) domain is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA for defect identification, logging, tracking, and reporting
• Proficient in QA tools, test documentation, and structured test reporting.
• Hands-on experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience with production support and release validation.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
