QA Tester

You will provide end-to-end QA testing and production support for batch and real-time applications.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end testing cycles and validate web applications.
• Provide production support, including participating in an on-call rotation for off-hours and weekends.
• Resolve operational incidents and inquiries within defined SLAs.
• Analyze root causes for production issues and communicate RCAs to business stakeholders.
• Create scripts for performance and load testing tools to validate application stability.
• Develop preventive measures and document resolution procedures for recurring issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with batch and real-time applications.
• Proficiency with relational databases, specifically SQL and Oracle, including stored procedures.
• Experience in production support and resolving operational issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting issue status.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and web application validation.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of UNIX and UNIX commands.
• Understanding of Web Services and XML format files.
• Experience with healthcare systems, specifically Care Management, Utilization Management, or Claims systems.
• Familiarity with CareAdvance and CareAdvance Provider Portal.
