Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in El Paso, TX for a Senior Product Manager Tactical Power Systems & Ground Based Air Defense. The Senior Product Manager leads the full product lifecycle for tactical power and ground-based air defense solutions, from market analysis and product definition to launch, sustainment, and phase-out.

Daily responsibilities include defining product roadmaps, gathering and prioritizing customer and stakeholder requirements, and coordinating with engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality to deliver solutions on time and within budget. The role involves preparing business cases, managing product profitability, and supporting pricing, bids, and proposals for domestic and international customers.

The Senior Product Manager also engages directly with customers, end users, and partners, represents the product line at trade shows and customer meetings, and ensures compliance with relevant defense, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong product management skills, including product lifecycle management, roadmap development, requirements definition, and business case creation for complex technical systems.
• Technical knowledge of power systems, tactical energy solutions, or ground-based air defense systems, ideally supported by experience in defense, aerospace, or related safety-critical industries.
• Proficiency in market and competitive analysis, pricing strategies, and portfolio profitability management within industrial or defense markets.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, coordinating with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and sales to deliver integrated solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, customer-facing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with governmental and commercial customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and risk management.
• Clear, concise communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present technical and commercial information to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or technical master’s) is an advantage.
