You will own the product direction and outcomes: set a clear product vision and strategy for financial systems aligned to business Multi
You will lead discovery the “right way” through research, design, and problem framing. That includes partnering with research/design and business lanes to deeply understand user needs and root causes, running discovery activities such as interviews, workflow observation, journey mapping, hypothesis testing, and rapid experiments to validate what will achieve outcomes.
Facilitate structured working sessions and design workshops that produce clear decisions, tradeoffs, and action plans.
As an objective strategic partner, you will build trusted relationships across Accounting, Finance, and Procurement and adjacent partners like IT/Engineering, Compliance, and Change/Communications. You are expected to bring an outside-in perspective, industry best practices, product thinking, and user empathy to help leaders solve the biggest problems and create clarity in ambiguous spaces.
You will drive delivery through cross-functional leadership by partnering with engineering/IT delivery leaders to translate validated problems into product requirements, sequencing, and delivery plans. Own backlog prioritization and tradeoffs, and lead product launch readiness including enablement, training/job aids, feedback loops, and post-launch measurement.
Manage product operating rhythms such as quarterly planning, roadmap reviews, progress reporting, and stakeholder updates. Own investment/value conversations for your product area (e.g., benefit sizing, tradeoffs, sequencing).
Business lane leaders consistently say: “This team helps us solve the right problems and gets to outcomes faster.” Transformation of financial systems to streamline critical workflows and enhance teammate experience and efficiency will be measured through agreed metrics/OKRs. The roadmap should be focused, prioritized, and transparent so teams can explain what they’re doing and why in plain language.
