Responsibilities
- Make road safety a priority when operating large trucks.
- Carry out extensive inspections of the vehicle before embarking on a journey and once the trip is completed to verify its safety and condition.
- Design effective transportation routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with protocols related to the handling and packaging of goods for secure transit.
- Ensure transparent and effective interaction with both dispatchers and recipients during the delivery operation.
- Maintain accurate logs of work hours and standard car servicing.
- Follow the safety protocols established by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to safeguard both workers and the merchandise being transported
- Quickly communicate any vehicle malfunctions, occurrences, or breaches to guarantee conformity with guidelines.
Qualifications
- Possession of a commercial driver license (CDL) at the Class A level.
- Possessing a clear record behind the wheel. Meeting all DOT health assessment and substance screening standards.
- Proficient abilities in organizing time and coordinating various tasks.
- Specialization in the safe and smooth conveyance of substantial and cumbersome goods.
- Demonstrating exceptional customer service competencies and a knack for cultivating long-term client rapport.
- Ensuring a strong commitment to safety measures and compliance with regulations by promptly reporting incidents as needed.
Experience Levels Accepted

- CDL School Participants
- Entry-Level Commercial Drivers
- A curriculum focused on accelerated learning over a 12-week period, catering to a diverse range of experience levels from three months to five years and beyond
Preferred Experience
- Competence in handling a range of trailer options like dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, and tankers.
- Proficiency in managing dual or triple shipments, utilizing various transport modes, and transporting automobiles.
- Competence in the handling of household commodities and unique cargo.
