Shipping and Receiving

Job Summary

Shipping and Receiving Clerk, is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Their duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.

Job Functions

• Verify shipping and receiving information, preparing documents, processing freight bills, packing sheets, and other necessary paperwork.
• Ensure that all outgoing orders are accurately prepared for shipping, including packing, labeling, and ensuring they meet any specific requirements.
• Provide customers with tracking information, shipping updates, and any issues regarding deliveries.
• Ensure that all received items are properly recorded in the warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory system.
• Provide regular reports to management regarding inventory, shipments, and receiving processes, highlighting any issues that need resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned/needed.
• Qualifications:- Must be 18 years or older
• • Valid ID/DL and Social Security- Shipping and Receiving experience required- Speak, write, and read in English and Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
