Logistics Coordinator

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation and dispatch operations for a growing transportation company. The ideal candidate will coordinate shipments, communicate with drivers and customers, track deliveries, and ensure freight is moved efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule freight pickups and deliveries.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and dispatch teams regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.
• Track loads and monitor transportation activities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare and maintain bills of lading, shipping documents, and transportation records.
• Resolve delivery issues, delays, and customer concerns in a timely manner.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment information in transportation management systems.
• Assist with route planning and load optimization to improve operational efficiency.
• Generate reports and support day-to-day transportation operations.
