A Closer Look at the Role
What is a Reverse Logistics Driver?
While most drivers take goods to the stores, you are responsible for bringing materials back. You will operate a commercial tractor-trailer, picking up massive bales of recycled cardboard, empty pallets, reusable shipping containers, and salvage merchandise from Target retail locations and returning them to our regional consolidation centers.
What makes this route unique?
This role offers highly predictable, dedicated local or regional loops. You will frequently execute live unloads at the consolidation centers and work closely with store backroom teams to safely extract recycling bales and salvage pallets.
What are the benefits?
Target values its logistical team immensely. You will enjoy a stable schedule that prioritizes your home time, alongside a top-tier compensation package that includes hourly or mileage pay, comprehensive healthcare benefits, a 10% team member discount, and a 401(k) matching program.
Candidates must be 21+ years old with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A). A safe driving history and previous commercial driving experience are mandatory. You must possess the physical capability to assist with securing heavy pallets and recycling bales safely for transit. Must pass a comprehensive DOT physical and background screening.
