Role Description The Warehouse Supervisor is a full-time, role based in Laredo, TX. This role is for a proven leader who will step in and elevate the team — raising standards, sharpening processes, and mentoring staff from day one. We're looking for someone who hits the ground running and brings best practices with them, not someone who needs extensive ramp-up to operate at a high level.

This role oversees daily warehouse operations, leads and schedules warehouse team members, assigns tasks, monitors performance, and supports training and safety practices. Responsibilities include coordinating shipping and receiving activities, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring proper material handling and equipment use.

The role also involves monitoring productivity and quality, resolving operational issues, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. We are looking for a

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years experience as a warehouse Supervisor within a customs brokerage.
• Track record of improving warehouse operations — not just maintaining them (e.g., raising accuracy, throughput, or safety metrics).
• Ability to onboard quickly and lead independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing a team to a higher standard of performance.
• Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, coaching, task delegation, and COMMUNICATION.
• Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving processes, including documentation, scheduling, and carrier & customs team coordination.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and use of spreadsheets.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems quickly, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, customers, and vendors.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or logistics-related education is a plus.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderately heavy items for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
