JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Planner
REPORTS TO: Sr. Manager of Supply Chain

OVERVIEW
The Supply Chain Planner is a key support role on the Operations team. This person will help keep the supply chain running smoothly by supporting day-to-day supply planning and owning the master data that powers purchasing, inventory management, and product setup.
This role works closely with the Sr. Manager of Supply Chain and partners across Product Development, Packaging, Sourcing, Regulatory, Finance, and Operations. The position is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working in systems, and proactive about identifying and resolving issues before they impact inventory or service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support execution of the supply plan across finished goods, components, and packaging
- Assist with production, purchasing, and replenishment planning based on forecast inputs, inventory levels, and business priorities
- Monitor inventory, stock risks, and supply constraints; escalate issues and help support mitigation plans
- Support new launches, promotions, discontinuations, and inventory transitions through accurate setup and execution
- Prepare reporting and analysis for S&OP and other cross-functional supply reviews
- Track open orders, production status, and timing updates with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams
- Serve as the primary owner of supply chain master data across ERP and planning systems
- Create and maintain item masters for finished goods, components, and packaging materials
- Manage setup and maintenance for SKUs, BOMs, pack hierarchies, UOMs, vendor assignments, lead times, MOQs, case packs, and planning parameters
- Ensure accurate system setup for launches, reformulations, packaging changes, discontinuations, and SKU transitions
- Audit data regularly to identify inaccuracies and help drive corrective actions
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure timely and accurate inputs across systems
- Support logistics coordination and help resolve day-to-day issues as they arise
- Help maintain visibility to delivery timing, order movement, and operational exceptions that may impact inventory availability or service
- Communicate logistics updates, delays, and executional issues to relevant internal teams
- Identify recurring planning, logistics, or data issues and recommend process improvements
- Support system enhancements, documentation, and stronger master data processes as the business scales
- Additional responsibilities as assigned/necessary
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in supply planning, purchasing, inventory planning, operations, or master data management
- Experience in beauty, CPG, skincare, personal care, or a similar product environment is a plus
- Strong understanding of item setup, BOM management, planning parameters, and ERP data accuracy
- Experience with ERP, MRP, or planning systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with detailed datasets and system records
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and cross-functional communication abilities
- Exposure to logistics, warehouse, or order fulfillment processes is a plus
- Must be based in Greater Los Angeles
