General
The Planner is responsible for managing and scheduling customer orders within a fabrication environment for multiple valve product lines. Key responsibilities include routings, monitoring and advancing the manufacturing process to ensure customer requirement dates are achieved, as well as analyzing and maintaining appropriate material and inventory levels to support production demand.
This role is also accountable for individual planning and scheduling activities and provides backup support to the Purchasing function as required.
This position is 100% on-site at the Hilton facility. Hybrid work schedule is not available for this position.
Principal
Bachelor’s degree in business/materials emphasis or equivalent experience.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
Minimum 3 years of experience planning/scheduling system along with working knowledge of a job shop environment.APICS Certified or equivalent experience.
General Microsoft Office computer skills are a plus and ability to understand and navigate in Excel.
Ability to create routings and understand Bills of Material, prints and manufacturing processes.
Valve product knowledge an asset. Excel at problem solving and having the ability to constantly re-establish prioritiesRequires effective communication skills in working with all departments.
Physical demands are typical of an office position including extended periods of sitting, extensive use of a personal computer and telephone.
Position requires movement around the facilities. Occasional handling of material and components
Normal manufacturing and office environment.
When working occasionally in some shop areas, personal protection equipment (PPE) will be recommended and/or required (safety shoes, safety glasses w/side shields, hearing protection, face shield, gloves, apron and boots). DeZURIK offers a competitive base salary in the $66,296 to $82,870 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus opportunities tied to performance.
