Responsibilities

- Oversee purchase order processing within ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to align material requirements planning (MRP) with production schedules, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships through effective vendor management practices, including contract management and performance evaluations.
- Control inventory levels through accurate inventory management and inventory control techniques, reducing excess stock and shortages.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline transportation, freight forwarding, and distribution processes for efficient delivery.
Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS for procurement management and supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation techniques.
- Experience with MRP systems to plan manufacturing materials effectively.
- Expertise in supply chain management principles including inventory management, vendor management, logistics, and contracts.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to establish mutually beneficial agreements with suppliers.
- Familiarity with pricing strategies, contract management, and vendor performance evaluation.
- Ability to analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
