RoboStore is looking for a highly organized Supply Chain Coordinator to join our growing robotics business in Plainview, NY. This role will support the movement of robotics products, components, parts, and inventory between overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, our warehouse, customers, and internal teams.
The ideal candidate is bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English, has experience with international logistics, and is comfortable working directly with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal operations teams. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to grow with a fast-moving robotics company.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound international shipments from overseas suppliers.
- Manage outbound shipments to customers, partners, and service locations.
- Work directly with foreign suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping partners.
- Track shipments, ETAs, documentation, delays, customs status, and delivery timelines.
- Help maintain accurate inventory records for robots, parts, accessories, and components.
- Coordinate with internal sales, service, warehouse, and operations teams.
- Assist with purchase orders, commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other logistics documents.
- Communicate with suppliers in Mandarin and English to resolve shipment, product, parts, or documentation issues.
- Help troubleshoot supplier-related issues, missing parts, damaged shipments, warranty coordination, and urgent fulfillment needs.
- Support process improvements as RoboStore scales its robotics distribution and operations.
- Travel as needed for supplier visits, trade shows, customer deployments, or operations support.
Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English — written and spoken.
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, freight forwarding, import/export, or international shipping.
- Comfortable working with overseas suppliers and time-zone differences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments, vendors, and deadlines at once.
- Experience with inventory tracking, warehouse coordination, or ERP/order systems preferred.
- Willingness to learn the robotics industry and become familiar with robotics products, parts, and technical terminology.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Plainview, NY.
- Must be willing to travel when needed.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with suppliers in China or Asia.
- Experience with robotics, electronics, hardware, automotive, industrial equipment, or technology products.
- Familiarity with customs documentation, HS codes, Incoterms, air freight, ocean freight, and express courier shipments.
- Experience coordinating service parts, replacement units, or warranty logistics.

Salary Range
per year, depending on experience.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
