Institutional Student Worker -Student Recruitment & Outreach

This is a Part-Time student worker position with the following pay rate per hour: $15.00

The purpose of this position is to assist the Recruitment and Outreach Services area, a unit of the Admissions and Recruitment office, with event promotion, campus tours, greeting students, and answering phone and providing general office support.
Completed at least one semester of classes (at least 6 semester hours) at ECC
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proficient with technology, including typing, MS Office, and basic computer functions
Previous customer service experience
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and technology
Familiarity with ECC’s campus and the enrollment process, or ability to learn these skills quickly
Assist recruitment with event staffing and promotion
Give campus tours
Answer phones and make calls
General office support
Reception desk coverage
Other duties as assigned that are related to the job description
Sedentary (up to 10 lbs occasionally, sitting most of the time)
Close visual acuity (e.g. computer, assembly)
Moderate noise
