As a Senior Finance & Strategy Manager on the Core FP&A team, you’ll provide CFO-level financial partnership to critical support functions across Coinbase, including People, Legal, Compliance, Policy, and Finance.

This team sits at the center of company-wide resource allocation, investment strategy, and long-term financial planning. You’ll partner directly with multiple C-level executives and their leadership teams to shape how Coinbase deploys capital and scales its operations, while leading and developing a team of finance professionals.

What you’ll do: Own the financial health of multiple major functional areas, serving as the primary finance partner to 3+ C-level executives and their leadership teams on resource allocation, investment strategy, and long-term planning. Drive the vision for how Finance partners with the business by identifying and implementing new analytical frameworks, efficiency opportunities, and operational improvements.

Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, setting clear performance expectations and building a culture of strategic thinking and continuous improvement. Partner cross-functionally with People, Legal, Compliance, Policy, and Finance leadership to align on budgets, forecasts, headcount planning, and strategic priorities.

Shape company-wide investment decisions by building financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases that inform executive decision-making. Execute regular financial reporting and variance analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and the CFO’s office.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or a combination of these roles (investment banking experience counts), with a significant portion spent in leadership roles at high-growth technology companies.
• At least 2 years of direct people management experience, with a track record of coaching and developing finance professionals.
• Demonstrated success as a strategic partner to C-level executives, with specific examples of influencing company-level strategy, resource allocation, or investment decisions.
• Proven ability to build, maintain, and present complex financial models that drive executive decision-making across multiple functional areas.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

• Base salary varies by location (see range below). Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
• Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):
• $201,365
• $236,900 USD
